What is a Dental Assistant?
Dental Assistants perform a wide range of duties in their position. They can have both administrative and clinical responsibilities. Some of those tasks include:

Prepare the patient for their dental exam or procedure

Take and process x-rays

Sterilize and disinfect instruments

Record patient treatment information

Document medical and dental health histories.

Instruct and educate patients on oral hygiene

The demand for dental assistants is projected to increase by 18% through the year 2024, which is much faster than average. Ongoing research linking oral health and general health will likely continue to increase the demand for overall preventative dentistry.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS
Each student must have a high school diploma or GED Equivalent. Hepatitis B immunization, and signed enrollment agreement.
ASPECTS OF DENTISTRY
Learn about all aspects of dentistry, from traditional to modern. Your vast knowledge will be an asset to any type of office.
HANDS ON
We insure each student will be trained with the equipment and instruments that would be used in the dental workplace.

Textbook and all study materials included in tuition. (Value $150)
Tuition Payment Plan Available.
COURSE COMPLETION SKILLS
At the end of this course you will have a skill set of taking & processing X Rays, setting up and assisting in procedures, placing fissure sealants, coronal polishing, impressions / pouring models, infection control, instrument passing, anatomy terminology & more.
